There is no “community.” People love to push that line, but unless you live in a big liberal city, it doesn’t exist. If you’re in some rural nowhere or in a country that hates you, there’s nothing waiting for you.Online “community” isn’t real either. If you don’t already have a following, you’ll just get ignored as a bot or a fed. The doors are closed, the cliques are sealed. Nobody is going to hold your hand or drag you in.So what’s left? Independence. Stop waiting for others to save you, because they won’t. People will leave, people will drift, or there were never people to begin with. The only constant is you. Get rid of the helplessness, get smart, and rely on yourself. That’s all you’ve got.
