im sorry youve had to experience that anon, i have trauma and brain damage too, but likely nothing as bad as youve had to go through. unconditional love can be incredibly healing but it can be precarious as your worth and healing is now tied to someone who can leave.

Biggest bit of advice i can give is to make a goal, as silly or as small as you may want. Work towards the goal, no matter how slow, no matter how many times you fall down before you get there. Once you get to where your going the journey to get there feels like a life time ago.
Life is so beautiful. Even with all the misery, you just have to focus on smelling the flowers and not fear the thorns.
