no being noticeably trans sucks here too, even in portland and west washington
anyways, just act like youre mute and write things down on your phone if youre that desperate. otherwise you dont need to record your voice, one of the best trained voices ive ever heard was from someone who didnt ever listen to her voice

you'd be surprised how willing people are to write off an androgynous voice, especially if you pass otherwise. if anyone mentions my voice i just tell them i used to smoke two packs a day (which is true) and they leave it alone. obviously if you sound like james earl jones you'll probably need to do some actual training lol
