What are the chances this comes true?
that, specifically? Not right away but a big goal for them for sure. But it's a point A to point Z thing.. the intermediate steps are removal of informed consent as an option and a soft-ban by essentially threatening punishment to healthcare providers for addressing any sort of trans stuff. Normies have no clue about informed consent. None. When it gets in their heads that adults can go to a clinic and effectively get a prescription then and there, the "adults can do what they want" position will spontaneously eject from moderates' bodies and that will get pulled from the list of options. The refugees trying to hitch a ride with an endocrinologist are fucked due to waitlists which will give conservatives time to put further pressures on healthcare professionals that provide the care. When they start crying and bitching about informed consent and it becomes the national conversation, honestly that is the time to seriously have a plan to flee the country. You should probably already have one but then would be the last chance. They do not care if you are incapable of making your sex's hormones anymore, and you wouldn't be able to get back on it to detransition because all hrt would be restricted. Your bones will turn to chalk and the government does not particularly care to carve out exceptions in those cases. You will have to leave or suffer extreme health consequences
>>41028527my doctor already told me no more estrogen. he also wont write testosterone not that i'd take iti have some estrogen but i take it very sporadically now that i know i'll never get any more
>>41028456iunno about all that, but I will say that a lot of ppl have an unrealistic comprehension of the customs apparatus, which they only saw briefly flex its muscles during the tariff policy flip flop shenanigans when it was unclear about exemptionsif they wanted to treat it like an illegal import they could, and more importantly, even 'enemy' countries have collaborated on blocking illegal pharma beforenot to mention they could exert pressure to shut down sources and even get them locally chargedso I feel like there would be more chance of something like that, and then I wouldn't see why a more 'liberal' government would reverse it, as opposed to if they ever shut down trans care which would be more likely reversed in a new cabinet
