My dream is to usurp the whole gaming industry for to pander to my emotional needs

I dislike the idea that art is primarily a social good or that characters need to fulfil some kind of quota to make you a good artist desu. I want different sexualities and ethnicities in my stories because they're part of the vision I have for my characters. I'm not doing it because people might yell at me or because I need to have the broadest appeal possible at all times.

Also American media is dominant in the anglosphere so I think their own historical civil rights narrative tends to centre black people as a particular yardstick for "diversity". It's kinda weird. Especially since african American culture is a gigantic soft power globally. Like kingdom come deliverance had Czechs, Germans, Cumans, Hungarians etc. but somehow only black people "missing" was a big deal despite their presence in places like rural bohemia being extremely rare it at all... the absence of Jews was far more notable and barely mentioned by twitter people at the time
