How do you keep shaving your legs constantly? I just can't do this shit yet I hate when my legs get hairy. Is there a solution for this?
>>
>>41082438
Epilate
Laser
Wax
>>
>>41082449
Would that also eliminate ingrown hairs?
>>
>>41082438
Wow you have like double and triple follicles, that’s crazy. Always so sad to see a hot hairy man body get shaved tho
>>
>>41082474
Wait that isn't normal? Are you telling me that they are men out there born differently? FUCK!
>>
>>41082474
Also I hate my body hair but when I shave I'm prone to ingrown hairs so it really sucks. I'm also a bottom so I hate the idea of a hairy me getting fucked.
>>
>>41082438
keeping in tabs because also interested in answer for witch one works.
>>
>>41082438
Once a week I spend ~2hrs shaving myself from head to toe (aside from face which I do separately almost every day) and that's enough to be buttery smooth hairless. Higher end cartridge razor & against the grain (aside from pubic which is with the grain). But your hair looks way denser and its also everywhere....I've never seen hair on a kneecap before
>>
>>41082484
The multi follicle thing just means you have dense body hair, that’s probably why you get so many ingrown hairs is because of the multi follicle thing.

I got hair everywhere. Shaving is a long process and I get ingrown hairs which ends me being like fuck shaving for a bit.
>>
i shave and one day later its already growing. im 10months on hrt and i thought by that time it would be a little better. i dont even have that much body hair i dont have it on the upper body but i do have it on the legs specially below knee and that makes me suicidal. epilator and wax would be better right?
>>
>>41082595
Jesus
Don’t post again
>>
>>41082607
Long term you should look into electrolysis. It ain't cheap but it's permanent.
>>
>>41082611
You haven't seen my back yet. It's even worse. I have a razor on a stick but it ends leaving marks. I won't post it because it looks like shit.
>>
>>41082615
i know but thats not feasible for me right now. maybe in late 2026 or 2027 but until there wax/epilator would give me smoothness for more time right? ive heard that after a while epilating the hair will be growing thinner and thinner right?
>>
get an ipl or a tria or somethjng and zap it away
>>
>>41082595
Stop shaving. Let your booty heal.
>>
>>41082640
But men like smooth butts.
>>
>>41082650
Nah you like smooth skin but there plenty of men who like hairy booty.
>>
>>41082650
Hairy is better than stubby.

I’m lasered from mid thigh up. Can’t remember last time I shaved.

If you are transitioning see if you can browbeat the salon into giving you the female rate.
>>
>>41082674
Fucking this. OP let nature take its course and let the hair grow.
>>
>>41082680
Not a tranny I'm just a guy who like the feeling of my skin being hairless. But God cursed me with hairy skin. :(
>>
>>41082680
Also you look cute
>>
>>41082438
I got a wax recently and it was a very pleasant experience compared to trying to epilate. The pros are pros and don't make you feel weird.
>>
>>41082970
OP is hairy as fuck. Waxing will be brutal for him.
>>
>>41082975
I can get fairly hairy. I asked the people there and they said it wasn't true and it hairs the same regardless of hair length. Although, I am the type of person the dentist gets away with using no anesthesia on.
>>
>>41082474
I have this too it's fucking torture. I gave up on shaving bc Im just gonna look like a moid anyway so it's not worth the effort.
>>
>>41083014
*hurts the same regardless of hair length
>>
>>41083014
>>41083024
It's not the length but the density. OP has like 3 hairs per follicules which is rare.
>>
>>41083053
I still think things are easier when you get someone else to do it for you
>>
Epilation works if you want something cheap-ish but it'll hurt like hell the first time
>>
you have several things to consider. firstly hair density. secondly skin condition. thirdly technique.

for hair density HRT helps, specifically supressing testosterone. hairs will grow less coarse. but once a follicle has a hair in it, thats like a set thing, and the hair will grow the same. your hormones just effect how that hair is first formed. so you want to supress T and then epilate or wax, so your body grows a smaller number of finer hairs. you can epilate semi regularly and shave in between and your hairs will not grow back anything like in your pic. for me, epilating once every month or so and otherwise shaving is good mix between keeping my hairs sparse and minimising ingrowns.

the condition of your skin is also a significant factor. if you can, bath regularly, use something in the bath to promote moisturised skin. exfoliate once your skin has soaked. moisturise once you're out and your skin is damp. use a body oil to finish. this will mean new hairs have an easy time growing out and this will significantly reduce irritation and limit ingrowns.

finally know how to shave well. always shave when your skin is well moisturised and exfoliated. this will give you the best shot of your razor hitting all the hairs (instead of them being trapped under your skin). shave little and often and be gentle; one pass with the grain, one against except in sensitive areas like the inner thigh. use an antibacterial gel because bacteria is going to make you irritated and give you shaving burn. use a sharp razor every time, throw out old ones rather than using them for ages. don't introduce bacteria after shaving by using an old towel or something. i find rinsing with cold water before moisturising helps too.

so use depilation (wax, epilator, etc) to thin hairs out. treat your skin well. know how to shave properly.

i can shave twice a week, both legs done in under 10 mins, and im left with silky smooth legs without irritation

I've been lasering my whole body this year. It's a long process cuz I probably started hairier than OP lmao. Six sessions in, I have two more this year and I'll probably need 4-6 more next year, although they do keep increasing the laser strength.
I got waxed once. It gave me like a million ingrown hairs, it wasn't that much cheaper than lasering the same region, and it hurt more than laser. I don't see the point in waxing.

It's reduced my ingrown hair situation by a lot.
>>
>>41082438
its only like a once a week thing if even that much
>>
>>41082438
my legs are like this, I have to shave every day
>>
>>41082438
If you are transitioning then the leg hair will go away a bit on its own. Did for me, now I rarely need to shave my legs
>>
>>41082438
Epilate. It takes a bit longer especially the first time so you might want to start when body part at a time. But it grows back slower and in phases so is easier the next times. It hurts the first few times but then it just kind of doesn't similar to how plucking your eyebrows stops hurting. You do want to exfoliate after wards tho helps avoid ingrones and I find my skin feels rough afterwards but with exfoliating it's smoother than shaving.

I mostly just save my razor for quick touch ups if I'm wearing a top with exposed arm puts or something.

>>41082638
Do IPLs actually work I thought they were scams.
I wonder how feasible it is to make a DIY laser or IPL system since I'm getting into optical engineering as my major
>>
>>41082628
I've noticed some of my hair grow back thinner with the epilator. I don't know if the reduction is actually permanent but it does seem to fuck with your follicles. But only when done properly.

TFW bought a cheap one that just rips half my hairs
>>
>>41084741
see >>41084041. if you are on HRT, you're removing hairs that formed with the influence of T and new ones are growing in their place (or not growing as low T means slower regrowth).
>>
>>41084741
i will try that. i know its kinda retarded but body hair is the main thing holding me from trying to find a boyfriend or even just going on dates with men. i know cis women have bodyhair too but its different
>>
>>41084942
I was on HRT 9years before trying an epilator. And it still makes it thinner so I don't think it's just T related because the hairs in theory shed and would regrow finer.
>>
Get laser sheesh
>>
>>41084958
Nah it's not dumb. Body hair even tho mine isn't bad is a crippling dysphoria self disgust feature for me. And I hate how I can't get rid of my pubic hair without entering itchy hell.
>>
>>41084959
Oh yeah absolutely, sorry I didn't realise you'd been on T that long. The sort of changes you're describing do not exactly last forever but do last a really long time, epilating regularly does have lasting results and just shows how slow hair is to regrow. It takes a lot of growth cycles before all the follicles you epilated are back to how they were before
>>
>>41082438
I just shave it once a week (usually Friday so I'm smooth for weekend with gf)
If it bothers you that much get it lasered or waxed
>>
>>41082595

I'm not trans, I'm bi but mostly gay this days but wanted to ask y'all because I imagine of all the boards here you guys know how to best manage body hair. Thanks for all the advice btw. I will look into it.
>>
>>41084726
yeah ipls work if you have dark hair and light skin. ive been using one for a few months now and my thick black body hairs are progressively not growing back. all body hair should be gone by next year and it only cost me 150 used
>>
>>41085897
I might have to try this. Im like pale to the point they don't carry my skin tone in stores and dark haired. It's why I hate body hair so much because even the thin wispy kind is noticeable on me
>>

Good luck. I'm the guy in the middle and I'm not trans either, also just a bi guy. So if you're the OP pic, just expect this to be a two year project with most of the gains in the first six months.
