I've been predominantly living in complete isolation, never going outside or interacting with anyone since I was a preschooler due to being highly-anxious, trans, and living in a rural conservative area.

I'm turning 29 soon. Is it even possible to try to live a normal life or should I just stay inside as a hikkikomori until I die?

I started hrt as a teenager in secret though btw, I just hide it well. Never been outside not wearing a jacket, let alone dressing fem once though.

At 29 you have definitely permanently damaged yourself mentally and created a very huge deficit between yourself and your peers. I really don’t think the prognosis is good. Could be ok if you are a hot passoid but it’s almost certain than you’re not.

Maybe it could be like a tv show where there's a group of friends hanging out who are all adults that's marketed at adults, I'm just the friend who's kinda weird and underdeveloped because of stuff...

It‘s possible to live a normal life. You‘ll have to get qualified for a job somehow. Getting financially independent should be your first goal.
