in case anyone finds this illuminating: i have a cisf friend in her early 30s. after chatting with dating app matches over text, she hooks up with them whenever the opportunity presents itself. her reasoning is that a lot of men are not actually interested in a relationship and will just ghost after they get sex, so she has sex with them as soon as it comes up to get it out of the way and not waste weeks or months of time talking to someone just to end up getting ghosted anyway after putting out.
