me and my brother were both raised religious, and both deconverted around the same age (12-13). except he is 3 years older than me.when he told the family that he was an atheist, what i didn't expect was that he was also deeply homophobic and transphobic. and that boggled my 13 years old mind, how could anyone be irreligious but also against these things? i had deconverted only to become a turbo left tranner myself (yes, the internet did a number on me)only later on when i grew up did i realize that he wasn't entirely wrong. i looked around me and realised that the lgbt, especially trans community, is filled with weird mentally ill freaks who justify their cause with circular logic, and were not in fact the objectively right ones with the mandate of heaven

any group of people outside of social norms is going to have an abnormally high representation of fucking weirdos, because the weirdos have a baseline of not being normal already.trans people must necessarily reject social norms. weirdos are already great at this and will transition at soonest opportunity, while normies will repress or never crack or never even realize it's an option in the first placehence a community full of weirdos where normalcy is the exception
