the parts about sodomy and how to dress are what they cite but it's derived from rabbinical laws that are designed to prevent sin and promote hygiene. the sodomy law was practical, because excessive anal sex would cause physical trauma that led to death. similarly the law regulating dress is supposed to prevent same sex attraction rhat leads to sodomy. the main thing that lgbt are typically guilty of is giving into lust and promoting others to do the same. there is absolutely nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex, love is good; it's lust that is destructive. the other main points driving hate against trans people are childhood transition without parental consent and trans access to facilities that don't align to their agab. the first point is related to what I stated earlier, they believe they're protecting their children from a deadly sin (there's ego involved too). The last point is obvious, they believe they're protecting their family from rape and assault by denying access to facilities. There's more reasons for their hate for sure but these are the arguable ones.
