If you're American maybe its safer to work retail for healthcare tho. Also there's other jobs less awful than retail, you just have to get specific with it. If you like dealing with people, like counselling and stuff can be good. If you like the outdoors there's plenty of work there. Gardening is literally a job. Being an instructor of various things. Getting a job teaching animation is a thing you could do! Sometimes I think about jobs like people who work at adventure parks and I'm like. Damn they get to adventure all day. Taxi drivers get to talk to people. Truck drivers get to haul loads and listen to audiobooks. Don't work in a post office. But being a postie in a small town is alright, just get to walk about every day delivering mail door to door. There was a sweet trans girl who used to deliver my mail for a while, she was sweet. Honestly like there's jobs like city cleaners that are kinda horrible but like. You're outdoors doing stuff. Better than retail. Retail is just horrible. Call centre is awful. Know a girl who works in a very unsuccessful funeral parlour. They get no work. She comes in 5 days a week and works like maybe an hour a week. Gets paid. Spends all day doodling. Lots of jobs let you doodle like that. You could get a lot of animation done at a job like that. Thay girl's bf. He's an amazing illustrator. He does the same thing in corporate. Just draws. His work is amazing. Does commissions and personal work while he's getting paid to be an office drone. Get creative and think about all the jobs out there. There's stuff you might not have even thought of!
