It's not fun to post here anymore because things have gotten way too unhinged.This board has always been unhinged, but in a fun way where a unique subculture was created around it. Even if someone was being annoying, you could trust them to be an actual person. Even if you disagreed with someone, you could have a reasonable conversation with them. You could be a tranny online while having edgy opinions and without being hugboxed.Now this board consistently has tourists posting unhinged shit that's so blatantly false that even a terf would probably call them out as being silly, and most of it is probably posted by bots anyway. There's no point in replying to anything with any level of sincerity or having a conversation if you're not even going to be talking to another person with unique perspectives and experiences, but rather are just feeding replies to some machine learning algorithm that's going to automatically shit out a fine-tuned response to whatever you said just to waste your time. The idea that there could be an actual living breating person who is just so dense that replying to them is like replying to a LLM designed to waste your time is also terrifying.
