It is inexpensive with most insurances and the recovery is extremely easy. I got it a few months ago after putting off for years and now I can't believe I waited as long as I did. Whenever I encounter an image of balls on a girl it just looks uncanny and disturbing and I shudder imagining that I once had them. Seriously, what is stopping you?

Also if hrt ever becomes hard to get it would be good to be physically castrated. It seems possible that insurance companies will stop covering gender affirming care in the near future, so....

The hardest part of getting orchi for me was getting over the shame of having to talk to doctors, psychs, and insurance agents about it. That definitely felt like a big humiliation ritual, but that embaressment was temporary and I think it was well worth it.

inb4 "im waiting for srs"
Do you actually believe that it is going to become halfway decent within our lifetimes? Seems unimaginable to me.

congrats, i’d like one too but my insurance isn’t very good and i’m scared the surgeon would take my foreskin too

Actually you raise a good point. That part kinda sucks. I never got to experience that. I wonder if they make devices that work with something else for the anchor?
>>
>>41277417
Because then they can't goon anymore. Same reason AGPs keep their dicks.
>>
>>41277464
They could tho... I trooned at 15 and i can 100% still get an erection if i try, even without balls. I just dont want to / dont care.
>>
I’m getting orchi before this year ends, but i dont know if keep the sack of get rid of it

I dont want srs for now, and next year prob. I will get my ffs
>>
>>41277487
Congrats! My suggestion is that you opt for a midline incision and keep the sac. Surgeons will always recommend you keep that skin if there is even a sliver of a chance you will want srs in the future. Also the sac shrinks without the testes, so you would probably have more scarring and a worse visual result if you got rid of it anyways.
>>
>>41277439
you can get it done in tj for $2500
>>
>>41277511
that is worse than some out of pocket quotes, at least in the US Southeast

i want SRS so why would I get an orchi? I mean it's not that expensive but it's also not free and it can cause complications with srs
>>
>>41277417
I'm getting an orchi in 9 days. I'm scared but like ive had ffs so it cant be that bad. It's free in Oregon though luckily
>>
>>41277417
im gonna get one as soon as I have the money desu, balls look gross
>>
>>41277417
Honestly I kinda regret my orchi…
I thought that I’d be less horny without the balls but I still get so horny that I need to help myself every day and it’s a lot more difficult to get hard and to stay hard and to orgasm. Having sex with a man is great but it’s terrible being so horny without anyone to fuck me. I also don’t produce a lot of the funny clear liquid anymore which kinda sucks because it was cute seeing it…
>>
>>41277417
I need a letter from at least two psychiatrists for it, which would be am ordeal by itself but its also impossible to get appointments. The requirement for SRS is the same so if I'm gonna put myself through that I'll just go all the way. Also there's just no real drawbacks to keeping them if you do injections
>>

>Why not get orchi?
Because I’m a cis twink and would likely get very depressed without my balls. Probably need them for the look.
Can you imagine getting with a twink/femboy on grindr and then realizing they have no balls?

The only reason to consider is that all of the endocrine nuking drugs I’ve used since forever, combined with regular exercise are amazingly good at halting twink death.

The idea of being castrated is kinda hot. Like, I've been taking all these hormones and stuff, sure, but it can all be undone for the most part. But like, if I got an orchi, that's it. No more balls. Not only is that irreversible, like, I can't put the balls back on, but I'm also no longer a man. Like, a man has balls ready to make sperm to impregnate a woman, but no matter what I do, I'll never be able to do that again no matter how hard I try, and every man who sees me from them on will see my ball-less body and know that I've been made to be a perfect, cute little wife for them. They are the real man, and they have the body to prove it.

>>
>>41281970
>>41281897
Yeah! Like it makes you physically impossible to conceive like a man in just an irreversible and life-long way as being trans makes it physically imposible to conceive as a women. Not that it makes up for the latter, but it at least for me it has somewhat counteracted that despair.

wow i need to get an orchi for my future bf
>>
I got an orchi about 3 weeks ago. It was inguinal (so no incision on the scrotum, incision is on the hips) and bilateral (both nuts are GONE). I'm 30 and have been on HRT for around 10 years.

Recovery is going peacefully. I don't really notice anything off cyproterone acetate but I didn't notice much on them either. I never got the bad side effects of cypro. I had to use a cane for about 2 weeks post-op since I would struggle to walk or every now and then a sharp pain would hit me. I thought it would be better to have a superfluous cane rather than be caught somewhere needing the cane's assistance yet not having the cane in my possession.

The worst part of the orchi was using the painkiller. It was an opiod painkiller (tapentadol) that's notorious for a constipation side effect. The pain would disappear for 4 hours then I had constipation for a week. I honestly should have just sat through the pain with tylenol / panadol / paracetamol / whatever. Post-orchi, the pain was a solid 2/10 (discomfort, restricted mobility but can work through it, dull sensations and nothing debilitating) but I had very restricted mobility but the tapentadol brought it down to like a 0.5/10.

I left my orchi quite late since I was saving up for FFS (which I had 2 years ago) and then I waited to see how a friend went during her orchidectomy and if our local surgeon was any good. Once her orchi seemed okay, I signed up and did mine.

I'm not a gender euphoria skirt go spinny type but there is a nice peace and satisfaction knowing that I no longer need anti-androgens. I'm quite happy about that. There's something relaxing about knowing I couldn't detransition if I tried unless I took active steps to take testosterone.
>>
>>41277428
Srs is very good and better than orchi that looks manly and gay
>>
>>41281906
you are correct. It does look uncanny and weird. For me it's a deal breaker and I don't fucking understand why some of you do it.

>>41283888
That last part is super relatable; I'm glad you're happy. Personally I wish they gave me stronger painkillers. Tramadol is fun but I wanted oxy :/

For anyone considering getting this surgery, I can't stress enough how important it is to ice and apply pressure to your scrotum nearly 24/7 for at least the first few days afterwards. The surgeon showed me some gruesome post-op photos with tons of bruising and swelling before the procedure, but I didn't have to deal with any of that due strict icing and compression.

Nobody's taking a knife to my genitals for any reason. It's not that I particularly care about the genitals themselves, but it's scary. I don't trust humans. Especially not with something like that. I am very open about being a misanthrope.

Real talk now. I do want to but the doctor said that i need to be legally female otherwise he won't do it. I was stun locked on this for a while now. Do i find a better doctor or do i try harder at getting my documents changed? (neither is working right now)
>>
>>41277417
i don't want surgeries... generally...
comes with risks of complications, looks unnatural...
like, yeah, i'm trans, but i don't need to get all cut up with scars and shit.
i have dysphoria about my genitals sometimes, but i can't realistically do anything about it aside from cut some of it off or turn it inside out... so i just try not to think about it.
