are your hobbies normal or do you play video games in a dark room?
>>
my hobbies are programming, reading computer science whitepapers and posting on imageboards
so no
>>
>>41279639
damn thats agp as fuck
>>
>>41279590
most people play video games in a dark room every once in a while
>>
>>41279828
yeah i know but i dont think i have agp
>>
>>41279853
you think 10/10 stacies do it?
>>
>>41279877
maybe like 5 or 6 out of them
>>
>>41279639
am i low iq if i can't wrap my head around how anyone could possibly derive enjoyment from doing these things? it's absurd to me that people enjoy programming or doing math like what?
>>
>>41279590
gardening, viticulture, landscaping, foraging, and making wine
>>41279877
Nta yes 10/10 Stacies play IMVU, Sims, Hamtaro GBA games on emulation handhelds or shit like Animal Crossing
>>
>>41279932
Yes, or really if you think this about anything, but it might be more EQ than IQ
>>
>>41279932
how is it absurd? dont people like drawing because it helps you create things? well you can do the same with programming
what are your hobbies
>>
>>41279877
i've met "10/10 stacies" who played videogames. you can even find them in some online communities. the reason you don't think they exist is because you make women uncomfortable so they avoid you
>>
>>41279590
>mushroom picking
>normal
>>
>>41279590
I often play video games in a dark room but I also have normal people hobbies like doing drugs, going to raves and concerts, having date nights with my husband, and watching movies.

It's like anything, getting results is satisfying, understanding things on a fundamental level allows you to abstract better, math gives you an insight on the workings of reality, it can be applied to many things and it's basically endless, pondering about the nature of numbers is exciting, getting to the realization that all math is connected in some form and playing with the many ways of representing common models is satisfying. With programming you can instruct a super fast machine to follow a set of instructions, which at some point can help you create your own complex programs.

everyone here has real jobs and can socialize. thats pretty normal.

what? is killing animals and butchering them a more normal hobby? thats what like half this state does.
>>
>>41280494
yikes
>>
>>41279590
looks fun anon
I have both normal and abnormal hobbies
>>
>>41279590
both. i mountain bike a ton in the summer and ski hella in the winter. any time im not doing thoes im locked into vidya in a dark room or gooning
>>
>>41280334
yeah see, none of this spurs on even the slightest interest in these things. i'd much rather do something like hiking or airsoft.

I have not played a video game since I started going to school I only read now
>>

i don't think you can really compare programming to drawing just because it results in the creation of something. following that logic you could say programming is exactly the same as cooking too because you're "creating" something. it's people's supposed enjoyment of the process involved in programming that i don't get, i just don't believe people actually sit down and get excited to write code, it's literally incomprehensible to me
>>
I like drawing furry porn among other things, and cranking my hog

gaming in a dark room is also up there tho

most art mediums interest me, and I'd probably try them all if I had the funding
>>
>>41280771

>>
guitar, piano, listening to music, minecraft, fashion, exercise thrifting, skating, photography, concerts, online quizzes, ptcgp, collecting random trinkets small objects like crystals and cds and tapes and incense trays and antiques and porcelain stuff, room redecorating, tv shows, perfume collecting, tea collecting, playing w animals, taking walks in nature.

I made chantrelle risotto this year and it was really good.
>>
I play in a well lit room because videogames are the only thing I enjoy and if I lose my sight my life will be more meaningless than it already is
