>first book: large hideous fat creatures breaks into girls bathroom to cause havoc>second book: the male protagonists barge into the girls bathroom repeatedly to save the school>main villain: normal dude who transformed into a hideous monster, taking on a new name and gets mad at anyone who calls him by his old nameHow did this series serious age so incredibly well considering the author?
I read the entire collection out of curiosity after the last one released and every single one was awful, when I saw grown men having breakdowns over spoilers I became interested in the series but it was terrible, very easy to read as there's not much going on, made it clear that the movie studios did all the heavy lifting and that british kids have terrible taste in books.
>>41285355I liked it.
>>41285343>How did this series serious age so incredibly well considering the author?10/10 absolute masterpiece. And no one reads biographies anyway.
>>41285966should I read them again?
>>41285343I read the whole series in the course of a couple weeks, I was so engrossed. I don’t care, maybe I’m an idiot. Had a crush on neville
>>41286041Probably not.Unless you read the first book before going to middle school, a lot of the magic is lost.
>>41285355>very easy to read as there's not much going onIt is for elementary school aged children
>>41286591I brought a copy of Harry Potter to a black elementary school in a bad part of town I was tutoring at - I wanna say they were 5th graders, and they could not really read it. It was way too advanced for them. Harry Potter was kinda marketed as a "smart kids" book and a lot of the Latin and Greek derived puns would be odd for inner city kids. But damn, black kids are stupid. That really redpilled me. I learned to be racist slowly, the honest way, by interacting with Blacks.
