These crosswalks used to be havens for fisting during Pride month, marking the Fist-Zone at pride parades. This history is being erased by a spiteful Trump admin, not to mention the wasteful reversal of 39 billion dollars in infrastructure spending that built them in the first place. They will be replaced with boring highly visible yellow painted crosswalks for "safety".
