>>41296914I think radical political beliefs in general appeal to teens because they have a limited understanding of the nuances of politics and they latch on to the first ideology that sells them a black/white dichotomy that appeal to their prejudices and/or an utopia that appeals to their values. A terf younger sister is just the female equivalent of an incel/chud younger brother, hopefully they'll grow out of it eventually.
>>41296914Not a terf per say but I do have a funny bit of beef going on with my younger brother. He's bisexual and came out a few months before me, and enjoyed the attention from our family for being the first openly queer person in it. I have a corny ass liberal mom who is the type to like to appear as a progressive and an ally and she made a point to very vocally and openly support him. After I came out as a tranny this spotlight was lost because her focus for that specifically shifted toward me, so now he's a bit bitter. I don't even think he's transphobic really, he is just persistent in being a douchebag about it and will occasionally leave the odd transphobic remark or deadname me with extra emphasis.
