My mother has recently started dating a trans girl. She had been single a long time since my father committed suicide while I was very young and she decided to remain single to better raise us out of selflessness. At first, I wasn’t too concerned by it since they were both happy together (albeit she is only about 2 years older than me) but the past couple of months I think my moms partners true colours are beginning to show. Like, she seems to taunt me over weird things, like me being clumsy or silly. She is pretty mean when she jokes about me not really dating or having friends either. One time my mom’s girlfriend walked in on me jerking off and said something along the lines of “oops, looks like this room is occupied… by one :3”. It just seems to be very odd, and confrontational. Of course, I don’t want my mom’s happiness or relationship satisfaction to be impacted by my actions which is why I’m asking here for more advice. What do I do in this situation?
