My boss is an older guy retired from the military. He doesn't know I'm trans, but he's very protective of me compared to how he treats everyone else and he buys me candy a lot.

I mentioned it to my bf, and he didn't seem happy. He wants me to find a new job, but this job is really easy and I make great money. Would it be bad to ask my boss not to give me so many presents so my bf's more comfortable about everything?
