>>41414299you're right for the wrong reasons. transitioning makes socializing easier in the sense that treating dysphoria can make you a more pleasant person to be around and can give you the confidence to put yourself out there and if you at least semi-paes it can make non-transphobic cis women trust you more. if you don't get any mental benefits from the act of transitioning itself then the social benefits won't follow. the only other thing for me is that shedding masculine ideals of how to conduct myself around others has led to my preexisting friendships to become much deeper and more intimate but your milage may vary on that.so yeah, like the rest of the people in the thread say work on yourself first and only transition if you actually want to and understand that being a tranny comes with a whole lot of other issues.
