Has any transfem autist here had any success with one of these home laser hair removal devices? I dread the idea of having to seek out a clinic to have it done.

I have light skin and dark hair and I would do sessions literally all the time.

I tried IPL for a while but my opinion is that it doesn’t really do much. It’ll work if you do it religiously but the only people who need IPL have so much hair that it’s basically not worth doing it. Be prepared to spend HOURS with a tiny rectangle zapping your hairs only to see them regrow 4/5 of the time.

Just take the laser pill. Get a Groupon coupon and go to the salon. Talk to a young, short, skinny thin 20 year old white girl who offers you a napkin to cover your cock and balls but tells you it’s okay if you don’t actually want to use it, she’s basically seen everything already. Have a conversation about her travel plans as she asks you to spread your butt cheeks and zaps hairs off your anus. Talk about your career as you grab your glans and angle the shaft in different ways for her to zap them. Get defiled by spunky little laser girls who seem to enjoy making hairy males into feminized hairless goddesses

I bought a nice like $300 one and it's thinned out my leg-hair tremendously. I need to use it more, here and there.
Of course you need a professional if you want your face done.
Personally I love going to the clinic. The woman that does my face has her own shop that's only a few minutes away and we're kind of friends now? We've had dinner, I could call her up.

IPL is different from hair removal. IPL is supposed to remove blemishes on your skin or some such nonsense whereas your laser hair removal laser is actually supposed to target the follicles.

i flashed my body over 100 times and i still get hairs but they have thinned out alot, and i can clean them up pretty fast with an epilator
i dont have to shave my body.
havng to shave my body used to bother me alot. so i think it was worth it.
its a very tedious process, to flash your whole body every week for a couple years. but it pays off.
and then you never have to shave again

and what the anon said about groupon and laser, it is worth it, cause you will go crazy ipl'ing your body every week, its very slow and tedious process and the laser hair removal place will get more done each time and save you alot of time.
it seems expensive up front, but where it gets you is more worth it for the time/$.

i know the thread is asking about IPL but what are you guys opinion on epilators? are they good enough to thin the hair a bit so you dont need to shave it that often and they wont bother you that much? i know the best thing ever is laser but im already doing laser on my face so i cant pay for full body laser now, maybe next year, but i really want to stop shaving my legs that often bc i have a bit of both folliculitis and keratosis pilaris, so i basically always wear pants bc of the strawberry skin (its not that bad comparing to other people online desu, but still it really bothers me). im already starting to use more moisturizer and exfoliating but i know shaving also contribute to have these things, so i was thinking of buying an epilator

just ripping hairs out is fine for urgent problem areas like your ear was hiding hairs or something.
The only solution I can recommend for thick body hair though is either a laser calibrated for hair removal at a low level but as often as possible. That means you have to shave.
An alternative is "sugaring" which isn't dirty to look up believe it or not. There's good and bad ways to do sugaring but I've never done it, I'm no expert.

ymmv but for me it was a lot of pain for basically no gain. my hair grew back with zero reduction and if anything else it just gave me bad ingrowns. it’s a good way to see if you’re a candidate for waxing cuz I waxed for a year after that and had the same experience with waxing (nothing but ingrowns after 4 days of being a hairless goddess)

its still better to do ipl and laser and then use an epilator for touching up whatevers left.
epilators are painful if you are hairy. so its best to not be hairy when using them.

If /tttt/ is the only place to talk about this stuff or fashion that's fine. Only a few females ever seem to post on /fa/. /fa/ used to be solely twinks years ago, I have to wonder how many transitioned, or how it is now.
