how did it look so vastly different from how our culture looks? how did "pink dresses" seemingly spark joy instead of being a reminder of your non-passing bizygomatic width/bideltoid ratio?

the more weird old websites i go to the more confused i become. do non-youngshits just have some sort of brain damage that makes them not realize how they actually look and how they're perceived? is this why gigahons exist?

how did people even realize they were trans without the surrounding culture and entertainment that exists today?

what in the fuck?

I was forged by boomerhon tg captions into the AGP midshit I am today. The AGP culture of today will eventually give birth to the new AGP culture of the future
>>
Boomerhons figured they were fucked so they just leaned into it, and back in the day all a lot of people had available as an outlet was crossdressing so its not like that has to be anything besides perverted if your not doing it 24/7.

One doctor literally prescribed estrogen to "transvestites" in the 60's btw, being a crossdressing manmoder was at one point an accepted option.
>>
>>41473178
>trans culture
um.... uh... I think there is a mistake in this???
>>
>>41473247
and as someone who started crossdressing before I really knew how transitioning worked, I kinda had this mindset for a few months before I found tranny spaces on the internet and figured out how to integrate it into normal life.
>>
>>41473269
I genuinly just wandered on here for crossdressing advice and then everyone told me I would go bald if I diden't take estrogen and I was like "well girl time is all I look forward to when I am out so maybe I am trans" and now I know how everything works and I don't do that weird shit anymore.

>no transgirl diaries
>no tinychat
>no IRC channels
>no ihp

Millennial internet trans culture was superior to both. We were the DIY pioneers, if not for our experimentation you would have no resources.

Also boomer internet trans culture was more built in susan's place and laura's playground.

that's seriously so cool!

>how did people even realize they were trans without the surrounding culture and entertainment that exists today?

Believe it or not, not everybody is a trender little zoomie
>>
>>41473280
I think this much is kinda true, before there used to be a lot of weird spaces, especially for transvestites that would post pics of wardrobe malfunctions that would scare any young child to death
then there were websites like lynn conway's website filled with horror stories
and sites like susans and lauras that were heavily insulated and would become the basis for the term 'hon' since it was common there
I wouldn't say we were diy pioneers tho, that honor belongs to bonafide hons, literally hon science mixed in with a reference or two
whether or not stuff like mimicking the estrous cycle with doses leads to improved transition outcomes is still unfounded and up for debate tbqh
I will say that current subcultures seem to share more in common with ye olde transvestite communities than the small window of millennial trans communities in the 00s and 10s

how so?

Paying respects to our millenial foremothers. Without you, I would have never gotten off of a prescribed hondose and onto EEn.

Thank you for filling /b/ with trans porn, allowing me to explore and make realizations about myself, giving me a chance at being a passoid, instead of never understanding what was happening and john 50ing later in life

Best xx,
21 year old zoomer
>>
>>41473337
how the fuck is shemale porn what made you want to transition, that shit made me rep until my hairline receded (tbf it receded very very early)
>>
>>41473339
I grew up in a small conservative rural town and didn't even know it was a thing until getting internet access at 8

It was less making me want to transition and more informing me it was possible
>>
>>41473178
Oh we know exactly how we look, but we realized long ago life is short and you should do what makes you happy without worrying about approval from others. You can rot in your room, waste your youth boymoding, or just wear what you want and try to squeeze some happiness out of life. Your choice
>>
>>41473325
like the whole boymode thing, the argumentation, and the feelings they express are kinda antithetical to what it was in the millennial dominant community
I think the few long-term boymoders were considered anomalous and confusing, and most would just support them like dw just go full time, it's fine u look good
now it's like they have all of these circular ideas about life, what it means to be trans, often not identifying as women, and some not transitioning even after many years
the kinda state of limbo and dependence upon the social aspect of 'community' is more like how it was for old transvestite communities, they just dress differently and post different kinds of pictures
>>
>>41473350
i need ffs and hips before i girlmode, prob around 2028

>>

I was wondering the same thing...

I wanted to be a girl since I was like 8, and even more so during puberty. This new generation is going to have a lot of detransers and dickgirl trenders.
>>
>>41473393
i only got it when i was like 14, but what happened is sometimes i would try to imagine myself doing stuff and I would be "female" and I was like "welp that isn't right" so I ignored that. Im 19 now and probably gonna troon, but I still worry if I am trender since I was doing ok enough?
>>
In the old days adults transed themselves because they were miserable living as men. Nowadays,"fresh eggies" get transed by groomers on discord. Essentially, modern day castrati, except for sex instead of singing.

Every time you see someone here talking about how adults should be banned from transitioning because of muh optics, you are seeing a victim of CSA.
>>
>>41473706
that's not accurate at all, i wanted to get rid of my rapestick ever since puberty hit, keep coping boomer
>>
>>41473708
I'm sorry that you got molested but we're going to make sure that can't happen again
>>
>>41473406
i had that too i was a low t high e teenager so i had weird sensitive nipples and constant desire to get fucked / be the girl in my fantasies even went to college and got misgendered thanks to my long hair and soft voice
then one day in my freshman year i felt t hit me like a cannonball and i cut my hair, started fucking (as top, oddly enough), and changed a lot
it makes me wonder what i would have been like if i had acted on my impulse in hs and tried transitioning when i had those urges i would have been a cute girl instead of a prettyboy twunk.
probably wouldnt have gone well, but its an interesting thought experiment
( not trans just gay, i worked thru what these feelings were long ago)

>>41473178
Its pretty well known that millenials are hacks at everything they do, especially their identities
>>
>>41473280
You left out mibbit, IRL trans spaces that still existed then and was far less toxic than today, qhi for yuropeans.
I had a tear in my eyes from reminiscing about 2014/tttt/, where potc was the stereotypical hon and contrapoints was the epitome of mtf toxicity.

Paying respect to the zoomie daughters who discovered EEn, made it a meme and during the covid lockdowns created the global manufacturing and distribution chains of troonshine, the Esters Four:
EEn, EUn, EV, and EC.

Without zoomies, I'd still spend €2000 a year on legit, proving every 6 months to a laughing psychiatrist that I'm still trans and smuggling pills across borders in order to get me to a coveted 30pgml of E.

lean people exist and they can look ok enough to ignore the specifics but even so it's like a cool object that reminds you there is a whole fascinating world out there modes of expression and what not the slickness of the craftsmanship in the feminine manner it's like wow it speaks to your psyche i feel it with shoes

a pharmacy that was inhouse, but also indian, I think they got shut down a few times tbqh

basically like a chatroom where ppl could just join and turn on their cam, so like streaming but actually social, or like discord but not insular communities
>plug dj
they also forgot this
it was a place with lil dancing avatars where ppl could queue up youtube music videos
one time potc was waiting for her song but someone else queued up some wwii german army song, and a mod skipped her song and all others just at the right moment it was going o play
and then she had a mental breakdown and probs left for a week tbqh

potc?
>>
>>41475017
princess of the crystal aka potsy aka schneewitchen and a bunch of other names
she was like an actual bitterhon, like ppl today have no clue what bitterhon means because it was potc body and soul
she also had a widespread bad reputation on various boards, a history of being creepy and abusive, weaponizing social justice, and had an encyclopedia dramatica page from her youth

I really wish I was on irc learning math by older trans women as a teen... maybe I would be a youngshit then :(

Years of testosterone makes the brain retarded.

Modern genZ trannies troon out at around 16-20 and not 50-60.
>>
>>41473178
all of internet culture has gotten a little meaner and more bitter no matter what community.
>>
>>41473194
Fine but I also get to do it non-sexually sometimes and also carry you around
