There's this one trans girl (Let's call her S for the sake of the story) I met on discord, we lived in the same city, I would coach her on philosophy and also she would talk to me about gender and eventually came out to me first, we were pretty close, she was like 5 years younger than me so I saw her as a little kid and she (this is something she told me) saw me as an older sister. Our friendship got cold though when she started dating one of my exes, that wasn't really the problem it was more that they had like a 3 year age gap and thats iffy. I tried to talk her out of it but she just got mad at me and told me not to pry into her life anymore, they broke up like a week later anyways.I go like a couple months without talking to her until my ex calls me, she seems frantic and explains to me that S was getting groomed by a guy way older than her that she met online and that he was going to her house that night since her parents weren't there so they can meet up for the first time. Ex was scared S was going to get hurt so she tells me to go check up on her. I knew where S's place was because she told me one time, so I quickly left, and, without having any transport to get there, literally just ran all the way to S.I got there, all sweaty and angry and shit, knocked on the door and to my surprise S actually answered it and let me in. She asked me what was going on and I explain the grooming thing, she tries to explain herself but from the door I spot the guy just sitting there on the couch, so I push S away and yell at the guy to fuck off. Surprisingly he does, probably afraid I will call the cops.S vents to me about her time edating him and how bad it was and I listen and let her cry and stuff. When I get up to leave she stops me and asks me to spend the night with her so she feels better. I ablige, we play some melee together, and then went to sleep sharing a bed when she felt better. The thought that I had helped her be safe made me so happy that night.
should'nt've ignored her in the first place. Big sisters need to keep their little sisters safe or else we get in to some mucky spots fast.
