maybe some decades ago when they were good at chess and showed up in James Bond and stuff, now at least in my country the accent is associated with being stupid/poor, it'd be like saying you find indian accents sexy

Indian accents can be sexy if you aren't racist. Half the world is brown in some capacity, I plan to move to brazil if things get too dire in all of the cracker countries. And so I have learned to find it charming.
