How do I message people on dating apps correctly?? I have a decent enough profile I think. I try to open friendly, complimenting something about their looks or something I noticed about their pics I like. But after that I draw a blank. I don't like asking "hows your day" or some equally uninteresting thing. If I start talking about myself or something random hoping to get the ball rolling it basically never does. I try more specific questions, more interesting, but people usually ignore or don't seem to want to actually chat they just barely respond and it goes nowhere. What am I missing? How do people do this usually?

>>41559916dating apps suck, its normal to have 10+ chats that never go anywhere for every one chat where you actually get a conversation. my strategy with tinder nowadays is often that i just ask for a date right from the get go so i can skip the whole trying to make a conversation flow stage
