did anyone here try minoxidil induced forehead lowering? im on hrt for a while now, almost 20 months and my forehead has proceeded a bit, and its covered in some hairs ranging down over a centimeter and fully covered with baby hairs, thin dormant hairs. i wonder if using minoxidil on certain areas of the forehead in a controlled and aware manner will raise the odds of making these thinner dormant hairs more prominent and thus, lowering the forehead. i personally am really really having a fight with dysphoria regarding my forehead, okay, its not typically masculine however its kinda big and like yeah... did anyone ever try this

if you start using minoxidil you need to take it for the rest of your life. also its annoying to apply it everyday and can irritate your scalp. if you think your dht is too high try oral finasteride. i personally added finasteride to my stack out of fear of high dht and i have seen a great volume increase and healthier scalp.

my dht is not too high, my t neither, i take 100mg micronized prog every night now since a month and actually noticed lots of things happening to my hair in that time, so im optimistic to whats gonna happen in the future with it

I think that's only true if your not on fin or hrt

i figured, because most people who use min are the ones with androgenic alopecia, thus, their results just fall out aswell after stopping, most after minoxidil does its thing stop min and fina with the impression that they "cured their hair loss", though i never heard about fall out by non alopecic invididuals

I'm sloppy at applying minox accurately so I get it all over my forehead, and while it works well for my temples it's never grown me hair where I didn't already have it naturally before receding (except around the eyebrows and sideburns)

I've tried but I stopped after finding out high and consistent doses of minoxidil can age your face heavily, that's just not worth it imo, never saw any results either
