Do a hobby that involves irl stuff.
Easiest ones to get involved in are consumption based hobbies (music as a fan, reading, etc) then you just go to local gigs and meet people.
Nerd hobbies are great cause the buy in isn't too steep. MTG, Smash bros/other fighting games, TTRPGs, Board games, etc.
Volunteering is a way to meet different kind of people.
Sport/outdoors stuff you meet different kinds of people.
Clubbing/bars it's a different crowd too.
Think about things you might like doing then look into local opportunities to do those things.
You can get deeper into hobbies like you could practice musician and get involved in the local scene. You could join a choir group (sometimes they've got secular/queer ones depending how woke your town is)
There's walking/hiking groups. There's jogging groups. Swimming groups. Rollerblading groups. If you skate you can just go to the skate park.
Classes are a great place to meet fairly normie people who are looking to meet new people. There's cooking classes. Art classes. Yoga classes. Dance classes. Or more out there stuff like archery or horseback riding. Chess club is a vibe.
The world is your oyster anon. Think of the things you might enjoy doing. Think of the people you might want to befriend. Imagine a life you'd enjoy living.
These are just a start. When you befriend people at these places, they might introduce to other things too!
Making conversation is all about 2 things. Observations and asking questions. If you can make observations about things that fills the air and breaks the ice. And asking questions gets people talking about themselves. Once they're going you just ask questions about stuff they answered with.
Even autistic introverts can make friends like this. It's just learning how to manually do the stuff that comes naturally to the normies. You got this anon!
