I’m MtF and haven’t been able to keep steady income since becoming estranged from my family and moving cross country. I can get interviews but not jobs. My last job fired me very suddenly and without explanation immediately after firing their only other trans employee.At this point I am desperate and low on options. I don’t think highly of myself but internet strangers sometimes find me attractive. I can deal with insane customers no problem and I’m used to dealing with insane creeps. A student loan is a fucking trap. Oh you work construction now but you pay off bunk loans too haha!College is a MASSIVE fucking gamble and you can only rig it in your favor by going all in on it and getting high grades/recommendations/special hands on projects. Think of school like the Diablo campaign and the actual work is end-game raids. You need all the purple loot homework like epic study abroad and actual scholarly research shit to get into in-game otherwise it's a timewaster.Of course it's best to gamble with other people's money but without parents sponsoring you I would literally recommend at least trying your hand at being a youtuber or streamer or something and maybe you make it big with a small monetary investment and a month or two of part-time work. Hell even if you're stuck in retail hell learning Spanish (or like French Canadian if you live near the border/any vaguely useful language) will take you from "I can't get no job" to "you're first in line welcome in." Some really smart people piecemeal certificates together but people that determined and smart can almost get their money's worth out of a big college.
