czech anon here. i have a few coworkers and friends who are either from romania or have lived there, they seem to mostly have good things to say about it but they're all cis straight people. i get the impression if you're lgbt it's not an easy place to live. shame, i like the idea of living in a country that has a coastline and gets a good amount of sunshine but romania probably isn't the one.

spain is the only one of these i'd consider, i love andalucía but i know it's kind of a shit place to be a wagie if you can even find a job to begin with so i'd only go there if i had a remote job with a foreign salary or something. italy is fun for holidays but i get the vibe that actually living there sucks, plus it's more conservative than spain. i just don't like france, can't explain why but it's not my vibe at all, always feel a bit on edge when visiting in a way i just don't in other countries and french people all strike me as lowkey autistic or socially inept which pisses me off.
