not really. boymoders are closeted. closeted girlmoding trans men aren’t mascots in the same way, but don’t really get shit on either. the closest i can think of is trans femboys and shit. in both cases, the response comes from them insisting they’re boys. when they’re trying to transition to women and look like women but insist they’re boys, it’s like, an endearing amount of humility i guess. when they’re trying to transition to men but look like women and insist they’re boys, it seems more like they’re not trying i guess? i don’t have a problem with ftfemboys for the record, just speaking as a user of this board

neither of these things is true in the wider "community" but are specific to this board on this site. this site is historically a bit of a boy's club, and so this board is mostly developmentally stunted mtfs.

And if they did try and put more effort into things (take T, apply minoxidil, and exercise, etc.), and look like men but insist they're girls or women it would not come off as endearing but as a predatory trans woman who isn't trying :^)

when it comes to chasers and making porn, generally ftms have to walk a tightrope of looking perfectly androgynous while mtfs can fem out as much as they want as long as they're pre-op.

In my experience as a boymoder, ftm girlmoders expect you to treat them the way a man treats a women. At the same time they act dismissive towards your struggles because they're like, super mentally ill and don't have a problem fitting in so it's 100% your fault you're so weird and icky.
