Never had to, only did it with a blunt razor to feel something.
Good thing I came out of that trance and realized hurting myself wasn't helping me and now I just pluck the hairs I grow.

i shave every single day pretty much but i have off days… i could grow a full beard at 19 when i started

i had laser but it didn't get rid of the lighter hairs so i still have some on my moustache and chin, nothing major but i remove them every few days. it probably bothers me way more than other people because one time i was in the women's ward in the mental hospital and wasn't allowed razors for obvious reasons and nobody commented on it even when it grew for over a week. looking back at photos it was barely visible.
