Cis girls get their entire teenage years to learn not to be cringe, surrounded by peer and mentor support, and half of them still don't manage it. >>41902436when you're first starting out, don't order things online, try to try things on in person first to make sure they actually fit. once you're more familiar with the brand or if there's something very specific you're looking for then you can try online. see what fits your body type well, e.g. if your shoulders are broad try things that deaccentuate them by adding less bulk to the shoulder area. make sure you know your sizes. learn how to shave body hair and tuck, these will open up many many more outfit options for you. if you can help it, i would also highly recommend you try to go with a cisf or trans man friend when you go shopping both for the reduction in nerves by having someone else with you but also because they'll likely have a better eye for what'll look good on you and you can skip a lot of money in trial and error mistake purchases while they help you flesh out a basic wardrobe.
