I assume it's a scent thing (the dog does not like me now) but it was honestly more hurtful than literally any transphobic things anyone has ever said to me.

This is 100% just a smell thing. My roommate had a cat that liked men, and after I started testosterone he went from avoiding me to sneaking into my room at every opportunity and sleeping in my laundry if I wasn’t around for him to burrow against.
