They are all addicted to consumer slop and there’s nothing counterculture nor alternative about their taste at all. I realized this when I was living with a troon that looked like the one on the left, and as soon as they started putting radio pop music in fortnight it was almost always playing in the house. Back when it was just video game music playing, I would look at him and just cast him as a nerd, but with the radio pop music in Fortnite playing I looked at him again, and saw him stuffing his face with snacks, listening to radio pop, and playing a kids game and I realized that being a “nerd” has absolutely no bearing on your intelligence or relative worth as a person. The reason these people chase after “representation” is because the old image of the gamer, a handsome young man relaxing on the couch after a long day of work, threatened them and reminded them of their failures in life (including with women). The “queer representation” they’re after is about making propaganda for their lifestyle of laziness, bad diet and Peter Pan syndrome to be deemed acceptable, when deep down they know it isn’t.
