They might surprise you with how banal their work is and how open and supportive they are. That being said, it’s a different kind of messed up from the regular corpos - they are massive bureaucracies that do not budge unless rulebooks say so. This will protect you against a lot of things, but also open up avenues for very frustrating situations. All that being said, it’s a safer place than 90% of workplaces you will encounter in IT/CS. Especially the case if you are being recruited right out of college. You’re Charlie and that agency is the Wonka Chocolate Factory. You don’t wanna fumble this anon. Don’t expect rainbows and sparkles but also it’s one of the better options out there.
