is there even a good reason for trans people to stay in the US at this point?
>>
the source for this map is kinda bullshit because numbeo is all anecdotal information reported by users based on their perceptions, like it also lists certain cities in france and the UK as being more dangerous than quito, manila or nairobi. in saying that
>is there even a good reason for trans people to stay in the US at this point?
probably not if there's a realistic way for you to leave. i'm curious where you guys think you can move instead though.

aside from the california weather, I'm running out of reasons. My mom has a friend in Denmark who's offered to sponsor us if we need to skip the country
I have fuckall knowledge of the Danish language but I'm seriously considering it
>>
>>41955197
idk I think its kinda nice here
>>
>>41955313
you might want to read up on denmark's migration policy first, it's one of the strictest european countries in that regard. even with sponsorship it'll likely be an uphill battle and you will have to learn danish if you wanna settle there long-term. it does seem like a nice country though and i guess being this strict protects them from turning into sweden or france.

america is the cultural center of the world
i wish i was american
being british is the shittiest version of not being american. 20 years ago you could be smug about it: a little poorer, but so much smarter and more refined and with real history. now it's bleak, bleak, bleak. much poorer, stupider, uglier, and history misremembered and mangled into nonsense. you don't even get your own language as a consolation prize, just american with a surfeit of "e"s. you don't even get the knowledge that tomorrow will be better than today that comes with being in a rapidly developing third world country. the only thing worse than being british today will be being british tomorrow.

maybe if you live in a blue state and in a big city it could be okay

>informed consent HRT available everywhere
>several DIY sites ship here if you want that route
>guns for everyone
>the capital of the world and everyone uses our currency

has there ever been a reason to leave

>>guns for everyone
nothing personal but this post just reminded me that america is agp transbian capital and that american trannies are responsible for ruining trans optics worldwide and setting trans rights back
so i don't have any sympathy for you
>>
Leave now and dont look back

icl anyone i know who's moved to NL as a foreigner has gotten extremely depressed after a year or two. it seems good on paper but in practice it's a bit dreary. pretty unfriendly people, flat boring landscapes, bad produce, shit weather, etc all while being very expensive to live in. most of northwestern europe is very similar honestly, you're probably gonna find it depressing and lonely if you're an immigrant with no strong ties to the country. i've lived or travelled all over it and the only place i felt i had a good quality of life was bretagne but you need fluent french to live there.

I'm there, housing situation is guillotine-worthy (govt has been fucking it up for 3 decades), language trap is real if you're retarded like me, and if I could do one thing 18 years ago, it would have been to show my past self what would happen.
But if you're less retarded than me and do your research to see if you want to stay here w.r.t. the housing situation, eh.

>housing situation is guillotine-worthy (govt has been fucking it up for 3 decades)
i've heard bad things yeah. it seems to be bad almost everywhere in the EU, but i think places like NL, ireland and the likes are just on another level. nowhere near enough housing built for the population growth they've experienced in the past few decades.
>language trap is real if you're retarded like me
to be honest the vast majority of "expats" in any european country seem to just not learn the language, like i live in czechia and at this point i speak better czech than any of my foreign coworkers even though i've only been here for a year. some of them have lived here for half a decade and still use english everywhere. what i've observed in basically any country is that locals do get tired of having to speak english to people, even if you speak the local language badly they're usually way nicer than if you just arrive on speaking english to them. i hear dutch people will frequently just reply in english if you sound foreign though, i experienced the same in paris and it used to always feel a bit dismissive.

The politicians are pushing the usual "they turk ar houses" thing, though the UN housing rapporteur guy published a 19-pager about it being the govt doing the usual stuff.
>expats
I'm a lazy gastarbeiter. I avoid my people. At least if I went to Germany, it would have been unbearable to not speed up language learning because "muh I'll get deported if I fuck up at work cuz we don't have normal access to the job market".
Dutch people do usually start in Dutch with me, but with how long I've been here, the guilt is strong enough that I avoid voice interaction as much as possible, while looking as apologetic as possible.

most americans have been brainwashed into thinking of themselves as gods who can just stroll into any country and be welcomed by subserviant little primitives who will do anything to be near an american
>>

the map needs to update new Zealand. the government is increasingly transphobic and the economy is in the shitter.

If you come over with your americabucks you might be able to buy a house and settle quite nicely however. You... do own property right anon?
>>
>>41957798
it's still a pretty good country
>>
>>41955197
there isn't any reason for me to stay, especially since i live in a red state. but i can't afford to leave either

I'm a 3rd worlder tranny in South Africa and I'm like 99% sure my quality of life is better than that of American trannies. Transitioning through the private healthcare system is piss easy and cheap, there's decent surgeons too, if you're poor there's state sponsored trans clinics and even state sponsored SRS (granted the SRS has a comically long waiting list nowadays), changing your gender marker on your ID is legal and also easy, there's heavy anti-discrimination laws that everyone is afraid of, and best of all there's no retarded 1st world tranny hysteria. Most people don't even know what the fuck a tranny is or how to clock one so it's easy to pass, and if they do find out they're usually simply curious. Sure there's crime but if you don't live in the ghetto and don't act retarded and oblivious to your environment you'll be fine.

did you get srs?
