That said I think when dealing with groups as marginalised as trans people, statistics on crime fail to really be meaningful metrics of anything. There is just no way I have ever seen to ensure that such data is not reflective of biases in reporting, resulting from that marginalisation, vs an accurate reflection of what is happening in reality. For example a common claim is that trans men experience more violence than trans women - how can you meaningfully measure this sort of thing in a situation where both groups have less access to fair reporting of crime they experience?
