It is painful how little the average TERF knows about medical transition, even the most intellectual-sounding ones who write out longer posts and who you'd think would know a thing or two. Only actual detransitioners know anything. And they tend to know as much as your average trans person, and aren't necessarily that knowledgeable either.
All TERFs tend to know are what the most negative side effects are from some social media poster that's trying to scare people into not taking testosterone (or sometimes estrogen). Like the risk of incontinence. Or how they talk about how harmful hysterectomy is without talking about if it's different at all for cis women (due to early menopause) vs trans men who will take T forever (and I don't know the answer because I don't know if there are studies on it - it could still be harmful, maybe).
Like, I regularly find TERFs who don't know that trans women grow boobs, for instance. Or that voice training is a thing at all, let alone for trans men as well as trans women.

medical transition just means castration
transgenderism is just mass castration under false pretenses

TERFs on this board are reppers lol

Transphobes don't have to learn anything about trannies, because society panders to them and affirms all their biases, so there's no struggle involved, they don't need to defend their position. So they end up incredibly intellectually lazy, which combined with the fact that you have to be a bit stupid to be a transphobe anyway, results in them being completely braindead.

All ppl should have the freedom to do as they like with their bodies, so who cares
>>
>>42018188
I don't really mean on this board, but even so I think a good amount are reppers yeah
>>42018190
I guess so. You'd think hating us so much and obsessing over us all the time would make them want to learn about how we do things, but I guess they don't need to care and just want to make laws against us.

castration is the opposite of freedom, you are selling slavery as salvation
animals are castrated to curtail unwanted behaviors by others who find them unappealing
>>
>>42018218
Wtf are you talking about? It's always solipsistic tismspeak with you morons
>>
>>42018218
People should be allowed to castrate themselves if they want though. It doesn't hinder freedom in any way to allow this. It does hinder freedom to disallow it.
>>
>>42018259
medical transition is a fancy way of saying castration, castration (chemical or otherwise) is performed because external forces do not want the person being castrated to act as aggressively as they do currently
the goal is behavioral modification

>>42018267
freedom includes sexual agency and function, so yes, castration removes freedom
