How do I not kill myself for starting HRT at 25, knowing that my bones are fused and I will never pass in my life?
>>42026240it's a sunk cost. can only look forward to what can be gained by continuing at this point. I'm in the same boat, but i was actually delayed a year more since i didnt know DIY was a thing. too late to worry about it now, so gotta keep moving forward
>>42026240Avoiding second puberty is still really goodIt might not feel like it but you pretty much caught the last good chance to start HRT
>>42026240it really depends on what you look like now. unless you're really big-boned or have like a very male silhouette - like dorito build with wide shoulders and no hips, that's kind of hard to make look feminine, but a more rectangular male build where the shoulders and hips are closer in breadth is fair game - you can probably bodypass after some time on HRT with fat redistribution and maybe some surgeries if you feel like you need them. same with face, if you still look boyish and have all your hair then you're probably gmi at some point, if you have a long skull, chad jaw and are balding then yeah it may be harder. just don't feel like it's going to be easy, it isn't easy for anyone. the people i know who transitioned younger than you in their teens or early 20s all got FFS and/or body surgeries anyway, myself included lol you don't typically get the body you want handed to you on a silver platter in this life. unless you're born cis ofc.>>42027478yeah be glad you didn't start any later lol it depends on the person but you're probably still missing some androgenic development milestones. you could have waited until your 30s and found yourself transitioning with a pot belly and less hair on your head and more on your back and shoulders.
>>42026240lots of surgeries!!
you’ll be a cyborg anyway by thr end of your life
>>42026240They were effectively fused at 18 you were never going to gain much hip tilt without starting at like 14.
>>42027891killing myself
>>42026240Why do you do it then? There's so many other things you could be which would be much cooler
>>42028022Most trans women today to start at 12 or 13
>>42029177They are still children yes. Their parents also fully approve. If they dont, those kids are young enough to be locked up in a conversion camp. You would not have been able to transition at 12 if you are currently 25. The ones that did were child prostitutes or had parents almost no one has.
>>42029188We don't have conservation camps where I live. Transgenderism is very well accepted it's not like Trump is around or anything. People don't even take him serious where I live. We're thinking of breaking up becoming their own country anyway. Nobody cares,or worries about it anymore
>>42029269Good for people who are currently children now instead of 20 years ago then. Doesnt help OP.
>>42026240Idk dude man up and stop being a bitch and live as you were meant to be (since you just confessed it's over now)
>>42026240Most of you bones have been fused since you were 15
>>42031615no, we have to pretend they dont fuse until 21 so we can pretend latershits are worse than us.
>>42026240hrtrep
>>42026240honestly, ur just crying over missing something by hon science standardsI remember trips in the olden days arguing they're only 25 so they can still have second or third puberty to feminize the last touches on their bones, pulling in unrelated articles from here and there about ppl w/ abnormal developmental conditions that ended up being like 8ft tallthinking that hrt is about bone development is wrong, since it's a pretty complex system, mtf would kinda want faster fusing by giving more estrogen early like at 12, and ftm would want to stave off fusingbut it wouldn't specifically target lets say hips and not height or the other way around, which is why it's more complex than just hormonesgoing down the path of hon science, especially hon bone science is the path to madness tbqh
>>42026240you just kinda feel the pain of it and then eventually get over it just like grieving all the many things you will lose in this life before the end.
>>42029177Not they don't you fucking idiot
>>42031615yeah idk why oldshits seem to think that starting in your late teens guarantees looking like a pixar mom, it's generally not the case. i've met enough people who started that age with worse inverted triangle builds than the average 20-something transitioner to feel it's kinda bullshit. transition age matters but past a certain point it's less about what won't happen to you on estrogen, and more about what you're avoiding happening to you on testosterone.
Hrt start doesn't matter.I'm 25 now too and I started at 17, I never began passing. It's all luck and you might get lucky and be happy before you're 30!
>>42027985Do you trust elon musk?
>>4202624025 isn’t really too different than starting at 20. The difference between like 16 and 18 is way bigger than 20 and 25
