For some of us, it’s because our bone structure and muscles are bigger than cis women and so any additional fat creates an uncanny valley effect or mannish look.I’m 5’6 and 130 lb but if I gain about 10 pounds or eat a ton of salt I go from stealth to androgynous and people treat me much differently. I have a pretty large skull but very feminine forehead, nose and eyes. My jaw can’t accommodate any additional fat without looking male tho, so I have to mew/looksmax to pass. Thankfully I pass at a customer service job w/ no makeup and short hair so idk. It’s weird.
