Cis guy looking into HRT for fagmaxxing but i have no idea where to start. I've found several resources for estrogen, but i can't at all find information on testosterone blockers. Any tips or recommendations?
>>42041860you dont need blockers if youre doing mono ealso are you very sure you want to be on e? do you know all its effects?
>>42041871give him six months and he'll cry about dick no work
>>42041871uhhhh i think? i know it gives you bewbs and ED from what i've heard. maybe it's retarded but I kinda just wanted to try it for a couple months to see how I feel afterwards, and decide if I wanna continue doing it. Am I gonna experience irreversible changes after only a couple months?
>>42041915you might grow boobs yeah, thats irreversible, do not do something that you may regret.
Hijacking the thread as to not clog up the catalogue.Due to how the it works in my nation's medical system i might be able to get a legal estradiol prescription(literally tomorrow.) very easily in spite of not being a troon.I'd be interested in taking it to help with my hair loss which has recently worsened.I'm straight but i dont want to have sex or kids anyway so most of the side effects wont rly affect me.Question 1. How helpful is it with preventing MPB and hair growth? I assume very much so bc it nukes testosterone.Question 2. What are some major side effects aside from penis not working(dont care about this one.)?Question 3. How does DIY work? Can you literally just buy it online and have it delivered through the country lines without getting shafted for smuggling in pharmaceuticals?Thank you.
>>42043377>preventing MPB and hair growthPreventing MBP and aiding hair growth*
>>42043377Why do men avoid finasteride like the plague?
>>420433771. it does work very well for that as long as your DHT is properly suppressed, some people have also said their hairline proceded but that's anecdotal afaik2. A mild form of incontinence is a possible side effect and it's annoying and pretty gross3. Yes you can literally just buy it online, the worst thing that could happen is the package getting seized (sources often comp a replacement), HRT and other non-psychoactive pharmaceuticals are really just not worth the hassle of breaking someone's door down for
>>42043396I've been on finasteride ans minoxidil for 2 years and my hair is fully see-through.Could be major blood deficiency or something else which is why i'm not jumping on estradiol before i've cleared all other suspicions. Getting bloodwork and a bunch of other tests done soon. But if that comes up clean it means im extremely sensitive to DHT or nonresponsive to finasteride in which case not even a transplant would help.I plan to avoid trannyfication by building up muscle and exercising to uphold male body aesthetic. Dont really care that gains wont be as good. I mostly lift for fun anyway.
>>42043421Maybe try dutasteride first idk if growing tits is worth it just to avoid baldness
>>420433771. if your hair loss is caused by dht, yeah it mostly goes away, and you might experience slight regrowth, but that's not a guarantee. hair loss could also be caused by other factors as well, so YMMV2. breasts, obviously. decreased metabolic rate, your skin will get thinner, so you will bruise quicker, decreased muscle mass (negated by working out). mental changes as well but again, YMMV3. yeah. it depends on ur country's customs, but i never got a package seized or something like that yet
>>42043410Thank you anon, this has been very helpful.Incontinence would suck a lot but i'd be willing to weather the storm honestly.>3.Awesome!!!I'd figure out VPN and a doubleOS boot for whatever bitcoin exchange happens just to be sure, but i'm glad it's more or.less a solid method.
>>42043439honestly a VM is probably overkill, I was buying t blockers through unsecured bank transfers and I was still fine but do what makes you feel safe
>>42043431To me it'd be worth but yeah . i'll obviously try to try all other avenues before sterilizing myself.Going bald killed my libido completely desu i just feel gross jerking off or getting aroused.
>>42041860>>42041915In the course of a few months you might grow small breast buds. But you'd certainly experience the oiliness of your skin changing, the oiliness of your hair, the scent of your body odor, and you'll have no more spontaneous erections. It'll still be fully functional, but it'll take more mental desire and effort to get hard and you wont get morning wood anymore after a little>>42043377>Question 1. How helpful is it with preventing MPB and hair growth? I assume very much so bc it nukes testosterone.Totally reversed several years of my hair loss in the last 10 months. For a while it felt like there was less and less every time I brushed my hair out of my eyes but everyone in my life kept saying "nooooo you're not balding!" bc my hair is pretty long. And I was also kind of in denial about it tbqh because balding is terrifying. About 3 months it I noticed new fuzz which progressively has grown thicker & darker to the point of becoming normal hair again. I cannot put into words how much of a relief it is to know that i'll never bald, at least not in the male androgenic way>Question 2. What are some major side effects aside from penis not working(dont care about this one.)?It still works enough for this to not really be an issue, though your libido might change (mine tanked then returned very differently)>Question 3. How does DIY work? Can you literally just buy it online and have it delivered through the country lines without getting shafted for smuggling in pharmaceuticals?Yep. DIY isn't illegal, you won't have issues like that. you can order everything you need online and be good to go c:
>>42043496ohhhh aside from penis not working, misread that mb. uhhh all my side effects are from my blocker which make me pee more, feel thirstier easier, and get a little light headed if i stand up too fast.
>>42043377if your only reason for estrogen is to help hair growth, i feel like you'd be better off getting a hair transplant or just wearing hair systems. are all the side effects really worth the likely miniscule difference in hair growth?
>>42043496should i expect anything differently if i were to ONLY take testosterone blockers and not estrogen?
>>42043542loss of bone density and menopause symptoms. just dont. you'll eventually develop osteoporosis if you run low on T and E for long enough
>>42043525>are all the side effects really worth the likely miniscule difference in hair growth?Yes.Transplants vary in quality and would cost WAY more
>>42043542pretty much what >>42043542 said. your body needs enough sex hormone to function, regardless of which it is. otherwise its like being an old person
>>42042089>do not do something that you may regret.you will also regret doing nothing, there is no choice
