Tbhon sometimes I'm just really really depressed for long stretches of time and messaging someone, especially if I don't know them well, takes me a lot of effort that I don't really have the energy for. Sometimes I don't even have the energy to text friends that I've known for years. I have periods where i’m very social online and periods where i only have the energy to focus on the interactions i have day to day. i try not to trick anyone into dming me because it’s a farce and ill never text people that often and consistently but my irl friends they have my number and im always open to a call :) i wish more people my age felt comfortable just cold calling their friends
