Unrelated to me being trans in the slightest which is what pisses me off the most about it but they were like the classic "asian parent" trope and constantly beat me. My mom (worst offender) abused me psychologically a lot for being neuro divergent and neglected all of my emotional needs because she didn't want a child, yet she accepted me being trans like it was another afternoon. It makes my blood boil how I was just harassed for no reason for 17 years until I moved out.
