Starting hrt in about a month, is it over? Had a Q about dosage because my sources are conflicting.
Diyhrtinto says inject 7 or 8mg of Een per 10 days (with my 40 mg per ml vial this is 0.2ml)
But the site I buy it from says it's 0.2ml for a concentration of 50 per ml.
Thing is. They used to sell 40mg vials but stopped and now do only 50mg vials so do you think this could just be leftover old dosage for the 40mg vials
Doing a quick calculation (8/50) indicated that the 50mg vials would be 0.16ml per 10 days.

So I just got my first (3month) blood test results and my E levels seem to be very high. Based on this, should I try decreasing my dose?

What’s a good dosage for estradiol cypionate if I’ve been on it for about 10 years now?

I've been on 100mg spironolactone (50mg in the morning and again in the afternoon) and 4mg of estradiol valerate (sublingual) every day for like a week now with it being split in the morning and afternoon and noticed that their was a lot more hair in my hairbrush than normal, is this normal? When should I expect T suppression on EEn monotherapy? I did a loading dose of 9mg of EEn and plan on doing 5mg per 7 days. Yeah 18g is ridiculous. If you have pharma E you do need a bigger needle because the oil is thicker, but you can easily use 30g with homebrew. 27g is a good compromise. probably a paranoid question to ask when I think about it but ehhh. During my first injection I the pulled the syringe out of the estradiol vial, had it out for about 10 seconds, then put the syringe back the vial. Didn't push or pull any more during the time it was out or back in the vial (realized it might've been a mistake and pulled it out for the last time).
Something small like this didn't contaminate the vial and I'm panicking about the idea of that over nothing, right?

i still grow facial hair but i never had a beard cause i couldn't grow one. it grows very slowly and lighter now but i still shave it every single day until i can afford laser. you will need laser for your face as the follicles there don't respond as well to E or AA.

So basically, body hair will reduce or turn blonde/soft, while facial hair is more resistant and WILL require laser therapy. I think it's alright since at least you only have to laser your face over the rest of your entire body which would take a lot longer. hope this helps

maybe you were pressing sideways a bit and the friction caught the plunger? theres not a lot of space since its supposed to be enclosed so you cant angle the plunger from the barrel by much. they are rubber and stick to plastic but they have a tiny bit of silicon lube maybe the liquid or pressure displaced it. i know when i clean big lab syringes with alcohol for reuse in measuring things it makes them stick super hard

if i want to blindly increase my dose without bloodtests from like 4 to 8mg or maybe down to 2mg over several months what kinds of things should i look for for "too high" think i have a good list for "too low" already

endos are almost never knowledgeable about MtF HRT. being estrogen primary means having a higher clot risk, its inevitable but minor if you are on injections or patches.

horse piss estrogens like ethynilestradiol give you a massive clot risk, bioidentical oral formulations do this too though to a lesser degree, sublingual is kind of better but it sucks for multiple other reasons. this is generally where "estrogen will give you clots" comes from. yes, oral E raises your estrone levels by A LOT, which is the main offender.

there is no evidence of EEn or any other ester increasing your risk of clots (more than expected) so this would just be conjecture and caution on her end. being on MtF HRT WILL raise your clotting risk, but the increase in risk is likely very minor, and on EEn/some other ester your clotting risk would be the lowest. there MIGHT be some merit to some argument about EEn vs EV injections, but there is literally zero data. if i REALLY have to play devil's advocate i would assume you could make the (tentative) argument that EEn is more lipophilic than EV and could lead to more plaque buildup? and the narrowed blood vessels are inherently a clot risk? but that's quite the stretch and there's no reason to believe EEn would do this besides some oafish fixation on the word lipophilic

if you are scared get coagulograms every 1-2 years, CT scans with contrast if you're worried about atherosclerosis, these risk factors are an issue over decade long timeframes. more than likely even if you smoked, took ethynilestradiol and were obese you'd live for years, clot risk is always evaluated in the very long term, +10 year timeframes. and if you want to talk about having injection levels of E2 for that long, how about we talk about being on spiro or cypro for that long instead, way worse

sorry for the walls of text. tl;dr high levels of E always carry higher clot risk but over VERY long timeframes; coagulograms and CT scans if you're super worried;

update on my needlephobia after switching from pills; my hands still shake like a withdrawing alcoholic out of anxiety, so I ordered an auto-injector that only auto-injects the needle, but lets you control the plunger. i could only find hrt related reviews from trans guys using it to take TRT but they all said it changed it from a long ordeal to no anxiety/pain. picrel. anyone here use an auto-injector?
