Starting hrt in about a month, is it over? I turned 18 about a month ago, I feel like I'm beyond saveable, laser hair removal will never remove 100% of my facial hair either, doubt that I could ever pass, should I kill myself? I had enough of this suffering, not sure if waiting 1 month just to wait more year worth it, especially knowing that I'm late and my facial hair will never go away

it gets better. plenty of people have started later than you, and bigger bricks have turned it already

you can get permanent removal of facial hair w/ electrolysis, but get ready for a lot of sessions.

at 2mg sublingual E + 50mg spiro daily I got my levels to 120 pg/mL e and 0.6 t. Doc increased dose to 4mg E + 100mg spiro. doc said I want my e levels to be between 100-200, and t to be at 0.2 or less. is this accurate and will the dose I'm on get me there, or will I likely need another increase?

youngshit

you'll be fine. just get your levels checked regularly and make sure your t is adequately suppressed

opt for bica instead of spiro if you can

laser wont remove 100% of it but laser + electro will. stick to it and you'll have next to no facial hair after 5 y

Had a Q about dosage because my sources are conflicting.
Diyhrtinto says inject 7 or 8mg of Een per 10 days (with my 40 mg per ml vial this is 0.2ml)
But the site I buy it from says it's 0.2ml for a concentration of 50 per ml.
Thing is. They used to sell 40mg vials but stopped and now do only 50mg vials so do you think this could just be leftover old dosage for the 40mg vials
Doing a quick calculation (8/50) indicated that the 50mg vials would be 0.16ml per 10 days.

did anyone here who struggled with IM injections successfully switch to subq? i had a few injections w/ no issue but had a really bad pain on one and since then, my last few injections have adrenaline inducing. soooo im switching out the 1.5 inch 23g needles for half inch 27g ones. a half inch thinner needle going into pinched skin, mentally, just sounds better than the bigger thicker needle going to my muscle. am i a bitch?

Subq is the way, you barely even feel it.

So I just got my first (3month) blood test results and my E levels seem to be very high. Based on this, should I try decreasing my dose?
I also see that my red blood cell count is on the low side signifying possible anemia, but I read that this is pretty common for trans women, right?

Current regimen is monotherapy- 6mg EEn IM injections/week. Tested at trough before injection.

that's your total estrogens level, when what you should be getting tested is your estrodiol (e2) levels. given that your testosterone is above 50ng/dL you might actually want to increase your dose.
>>
not new to hrt but newly on injections... is 2mg a bad dose i used to get 0.3/day from patches. also is it bad if i had a really little bit of dark blood after doing a subq injection on my thigh and some of the E leaked out....

120pg/mL on sublingual is not high enough.

sublingual levels are a bit harder to measure bc your troughs get so fucking low, but here is what i will say.

you want to spent as much time as possible above 200-250.

i saw a difference between 256 and 316 @ the 4 hour mark after morning 1/2 dose.

for super precise measurements and best results, injections are needed for stability IMO

Oh, oops. I suppose that's sort of a relief, although yes, my T is still slightly on the high end. Is it possible this dose is fine, and it just might take a few more weeks or months for my T to go down?

Next time I'll test for e2, thanks for the heads up.
>>
>>42052672
3 months should already be at steady state, but if this is the first time you've ever taken hrt then it's possible that over time your T production will fall further. i'd bump it up anyways just to be safe because suppressing T is more important than keeping e levels within a "normal" range.

i should clarify its oral E, im just taking them sublingually. does that make a difference or do i still want to be between 2-500?

anyone know the relationship between vitamin D and breast growth? i havent noticed any significant growth since ive been confirmed to be deficient (21ng/ml) and that's been about 3 years.

ive been doing research and i get more or less mixed messaging. some people say it helps, others say it has no effect whatsoever aside from possibly boosting libido and general mental health. research says vitamin D has a prominent role in regulating estrogen and testosterone, but for trans women, what would this even entail? it's not like we're getting our hormones naturally.

what are the pills chemically and what do they look like if u don't know the brand name

vitamin D is good to take in general so im not surprised your endo recommended it, but i do wonder if there was another reason, particularly transition wise.

i found a study that says it's important for prevention of breast cancer, it also mentions that it helps with ductal elongation and branching, but to what extent? would a deficiency cause stunting?
