it took meeeee 7 months to get that tranny voice which sometimes passed on its own (was mutepassoid atp so idk how it was leveraging that) but i had a coach and i didnt put in a lot of effort

I started voice training by using my girl voice. I was man moding at work initially. It took about 60-90 days after coming out at work to pass on the phone 100% of time.

I have played girl characters in DND and done voice chat ERP with autists for years though so that helped.

About a year. No coach.
I was already researching laryngoplasty 10 months in and was looking into how to get the money for it.
And then suddenly, within weeks, it just clicked.

Was harder to get it to pass in English. I still sometimes get gendered male when I speak in English. But, thankfully, I don't have to speak in English too often.

2 years to never get gendered male again and to be able to do it comfortable every time all day. I got it really quickly bc I was a choirfag and had a lot ofnvocal training already but it was inconsistent and I couldn't do it for long. i also had a robotic monotone voice at first. being able to use a lot more of my range comfortably took 2 years but now I voicepass. I still want vfs so i can sing the same as I did before puberty again

for me its the other way around, my voice always passed better when speaking foreign languages. maybe because finnish is spoken in an autistic moid way, even cis women speak low and monotonously here.

on the other hand vocal fry is massive here, even men do it while elsewhere it's considered an annoying women's thing
