In 2022 I met a trans guy who told me he’s trans because he’s afraid of living in society as a woman, because of the dangers women face every minuteHonestly, at the time I thought it was lame. >>42052387I think he has a level of self awareness and honesty that’s refreshing. Not a lot of trans ppl, particularly MTFs, do a lot of self-theorizing. I hope he feels safer now. I honestly couldn’t begin to appreciate the hell that AFABs go through. Being constantly sexualized by adult men even before your puberty sounds terrifying. And something like 2/5 of women will be sexually assaulted in their life. So I think it makes sense and I wish him well.
