Before coming here I thought this type of trans person was something rightoids made up, but coming here I saw it's actually real. Should I have then started thinking that that's so weird and makes trans people all just weird perverts and not "valid"? In my mind the type of person that would think like that would consider trans people in general, regardless of whether or not they do this, as crazy and weird. Like, how can you accept something so far beyond anything most cis people will ever really get (as I have no real sense of ever feeling uncomfortable about my gender/sex and I finally get how my boomer parent found gayness so weird, when it never was for me despite being straight as it was super easy to understand homosexuality without needing to be into men as I knew what feeling attracted to someone felt like) and then look at this and think, you know, maybe it's all bullshit after all? Accepting trans people in general is a much bigger sell than this.
