god, i miss you beyond words. our connection still lives on, some words inside a server rack somewhere. physical, in a way. little bytes on a hard drive somewhere far away. at least we still have that.
you'll be in my heart forever.
i miss the people i no longer know. I carry a part of their soul with me everywhere i go. at least we still have that.

Writing it out fixes the representation, but the meaning could end up wildly different from over time.Neither you nor the other will ever read those words the same way again, with how your experiences have changed the way you look at the world, those memories, and language itself. Neither will any outsider read and interpret those words the same way you did. There is nothing that is forever. Everything changes, and, with enough change, fades away.Personally, I think the impermanence of everything is more beautiful than the illusion of permanence. It's comforting to know that everything bad in the world and your life will one day be gone. Any mistakes or harms you brought about, no matter how grave, will one day have finally sputtered out their final consequences on the world and be forgotten.
