it's not but when you get close there are people who get insanely bitter about it and out you as trans. passing is a social ritual and you have to be very careful with who you open up to and who your friends are. you can't trust any cis and you can't trust many trannies, either.I know trans women who are deep stealth and feel privileged with this information
